The Social and Catering Committee oversee and plan the social events in our parish.

The aim is ensure that parishioners enjoy themselves whilst helping to build a strong sense of community within our parish. Annual events include, the celebration of our patron feast St John Bosco on the 31st January, a Children’s Easter hunt, the parish barbeque in July and the St John Bosco Christmas party in December. Other events such as a quiz evening, an international food evening, the Winter Warmer are also held.

The committee are always looking for new ways we can socialise as a parish, and new ideas are most welcome.

These events are usually publicised in the parish newsletter. Sometimes a raffle is held at the same time to raise funds for the social activities in the parish.

Members are always happy to welcome new people and receive wider support when events take place.
